Strangers in Blood: Distanced Lives (2007), Sex Appealed and Yield were all selected by a committee of journalists for the National Press Club's annual Book Fair & Author Night gala in Washington, D.C. She is a featured author at national book festivals, and taught nonfiction writing at a seminar preceding the Ann Arbor (Michigan) book festival.
Law writes from her unique position as a former criminal court judge, federal and state prosecutor, criminal defense--and print journalist. Before becoming an attorney, she worked for 14 years as a journalist, including as a stringer for The New York Times.
